Looking for a fun and exciting way to get involved with horses and farm life? Look no further than the Clydesdale Outpost Volunteer Program!

Our program offers a unique opportunity for hardworking and dedicated individuals to gain hands-on experience with Clydesdale horses, one of the most majestic breeds in the world. With our multi-level program, you can work your way up from the Clydesdale Introduction level, all the way to becoming a Clydesdale Master!

At the Clydesdale Introduction level, you'll start by getting your hands dirty with basic farm labor tasks, like mucking stalls and emptying manure bins. But don't worry, we'll also teach you the basics of caring for these magnificent animals, like grooming and feeding.

Once you've mastered the basics, you can move on to the Clydesdale Apprentice level, where you'll work more closely with the Clydesdales. You'll get to train, exercise, and handle the horses, and assist with veterinary care and breeding programs.

As you progress to the Clydesdale Specialist level, you'll take on even more advanced tasks, like managing and breeding the horses, and even representing Clydesdale Outpost at public events and educational programs.

And for those who truly excel, the Clydesdale Master level offers the ultimate experience. You'll get to travel with Clydesdale Outpost to participate in events and showcase the Clydesdales to the public, all while caring for and mentoring other volunteers.

Each level of the program offers increasing levels of responsibility, skill-building, and personal development. You'll gain a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of horse care, farm management, and leadership.

The program has different levels, each represented by a different color, starting with the Clydesdale Introduction level.

Clydesdale Introduction (Green Level): This is the entry-level for volunteers at Clydesdale Outpost. Volunteers at this level will primarily focus on farm labor and basic horse care tasks such as mucking stalls, emptying manure bins, and grooming the Clydesdales. They will also assist with general farm maintenance duties such as equipment upkeep, fencing, and barn repairs. Volunteers at this level will receive training and support from experienced staff members to help them develop the necessary skills to care for the Clydesdales.

Clydesdale Apprentice (Blue Level): Once volunteers have completed the Clydesdale Introduction level, they can move on to the Clydesdale Apprentice level. At this level, volunteers will take on more responsibilities and have the opportunity to work more closely with the Clydesdales. This will include tasks such as training, exercising, and handling the horses, as well as assisting with veterinary care and breeding programs. Volunteers at this level will receive more advanced training and mentorship from experienced staff members.

Clydesdale Specialist (Red Level): The Clydesdale Specialist level is for volunteers who have demonstrated a high level of skill and dedication in their work with the Clydesdales. Volunteers at this level will be responsible for training and supervising lower-level volunteers, as well as taking on more advanced tasks such as horse breeding and management. They will also have the opportunity to represent Clydesdale Outpost at public events and educational programs. Volunteers at this level will receive advanced training and mentorship from senior staff members.

Clydesdale Master (Black Level): The Clydesdale Master level is the highest level of the volunteer program. At this level, volunteers will have the opportunity to travel with Clydesdale Outpost to participate in events and showcase the Clydesdales to the public. They will be responsible for caring for the Clydesdales during these events, including grooming, feeding, and exercising them. Volunteers at this level will also assist with training and mentoring other volunteers in the program. To reach this level, volunteers must demonstrate exceptional skills and dedication to the program.

Each level of the Clydesdale Outpost Volunteer Program provides increasing levels of responsibility, skill-building, and personal development. Volunteers who complete the program will have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of horse care, farm management, and leadership. They will also have the satisfaction of knowing that they have contributed to the success of Clydesdale Outpost and helped to preserve this magnificent breed of horse for future generations.
