So good

This was just what we wanted and needed. The cabin was perfect for us and our two kids. The kids had a great time watching and feeding the horses and were thrilled that there was a ladder in the cabin. The best thing for me was being away from the city and just relaxing. The hot tub was fantastic and so relaxing. It was also really nice to have some decent food and coffee options nearby (within a few minutes drive) as that meant we didn't have to drive down to Battleground.

The Baker

I wanted to take my 18, 19 and 20 year old somewhere fun, somewhere different and somewhere that included nature and animals. We wanted to stay in a little home and Matt and Ben delivered an experience that exceeded our expectations, the homes are adorable, the horses beautiful, the hot tub and sauna definitely were a hit, we played Elvis and Christmas music on the record player which was nostalgic. The only drawback was we should have stayed longer it is that peaceful. My kids are talking about going back soon. Thank you Matt and Ben for offering your place for us to enjoy and connect.

Property and cabin are gorgeous. My kids spent their wedding night there and came in to a note from the owners congratulating them. The reservation and checkin process are smooth and easy. Will recommend to everyone. Thank you for making my kids wedding night special.

Relaxing getaway

We absolutely loved our time here at Clydesdale Outpost! Relaxing by the fire, the cozy cabins, the hot tub and of course feeding the beautiful Clydesdales carrots. Thank you Matt and Ben!! We will be back!

I met up with my friend who was traveling. I got a cabin & her family of 3 got a cabin. We absolutely loved it. The owners are so welcoming, and it was such a wonderful experience getting away even just for a night! The hot tub was amazing. The cabin was cute & cozy.

Spent 2 nights with my mom and daughter. Cabin is cozy and relaxing. Had to change dates and Matt was very accommodating. Horses are gorgeous and friendly. Loved hearing different information about them and seeing the 2 month old colt. Such a great experience. My daughter is asking to go back and we just got home!

Enjoyed a couple relaxing days

We enjoyed our three days and two nights at the outpost. The accommodations are cozy. We all enjoyed watching the horses in the morning and evenings by the campfire, they are tremendous animals. The owners were great to work with.

Great weekend get away

This was the perfect weekend get away. We knew the other two families staying on the property and we all had a blast. The horses are so beautiful and so sweet. We will be back!

Relaxing Family-Friendly Escape

Stayed at the cabins with my family of 3, another family of 3 and a family of 4, all of us friends from Portland. It was a wonderful weekend. The kids (ages 4-10) loved the horses and so did the adults. They were amazing to watch and interact with. The owners were so friendly and helpful and the cabins are cute, comfortable, hip and functional. We all want to go back and see the horses again.

What a magical unique stay. Cabins are clean and well equipped. Hot tub is perfection and the Clydesdales OMG they’re the sweetest creatures. We had dinner at Nicks which was even better than expected. Our hosts were wonderful and helpful. Looking forward to staying again.
