Clydesdale Outpost is an idyllic retreat that offers an unparalleled guest ranch experience. Our award-winning Clydesdale horses are the crown jewels of the property, providing guests with the opportunity to connect with these majestic creatures in a truly intimate way. Guests can relax in the luxurious comfort of our private, 2-bedroom cabins, each of which has been meticulously designed and decorated to reflect the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape and with their own cedar hot tubs on the back deck. The Welcome Center is a treasure trove of merchandise and information, and it serves as the hub for scheduling horse activities and traditional guest ranch experiences such as horseback rides and carriage rides with our beautiful Clydesdales. Come and discover the splendor and grace of these gentle giants in a truly unique setting.

 

Cabins

Retreat to your vintage-inspired timber frame cabin, nestled amidst untouched fields where majestic Clydesdale horses roam. Designed to evoke a sense of wonder and tranquility, this beautiful cabin offers an unforgettable space for you to relax and unwind. As you enter, you are greeted by the warmth of the indoor cast iron gas fireplace, inviting you to cozy up with a book or entertain guests on your patio at the fire pit. The oversized accordion kitchen window creates a seamless indoor-outdoor flow, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktails.

The full-sized kitchen, equipped with a 2-burner stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and Nespresso machine, is ready to help you prepare delicious meals. If you need to get some work done, high-speed wireless internet and a desk space are provided, or you can disconnect and write a special letter on one of our typewriters or vibe out on the record player.

As the day comes to an end, take a dip in your private cedar hot tub and indulge in the luxurious amenities of the double vanity bathroom, plush towels and modern shower. The cabins are built to sleep 4 adult guests comfortably with ultra-soft linens on the Queen bed (located on the top floor bedroom) or Queen bed (main floor bedroom).

Welcome Center 

​

Our Welcome Center has a wonderful gift shop and more information on horse activities. It also functions as a small, grab-and-go grocery store and even sells beer & wine for off-premise consumption.

Clydesdale Barn

​

Our main horse barn is where we start all activities and also birth our Clydesdales. Guests have access during business hours to interact with the horses who are eager for pets and making new friends.

Cabin and Property Rules

 

Welcome to our lovely cabin retreat! We're excited to have you join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Our check-in time is at 4:00 PM, and check-out time is at 10:00 AM.

 

Children and families are welcome, and we even have select cabins that are pet-friendly - Junegrass, Stillwater, and Gunsight. Just keep in mind that there will be an additional pet fee.

 

We kindly ask that smoking is not allowed on the premises for the comfort of all our guests.

 

Additionally, the property encompasses 92 acres of beautiful land, but it may not be suitable for elderly or infirm guests who have difficulty navigating outdoor terrain and unique spaces. Thank you for choosing us, and we look forward to hosting you!

Cancellation Policy and Deposit

​

Thank you for choosing to book with us. We kindly remind you that a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, which is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

​

The remaining balance of your payment is due seven days prior to your scheduled arrival date, and once paid, it also becomes non-refundable.

​

However, we understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and our dedicated staff is always available to assist you in rescheduling your booking for a future date when availability allows. Please keep in mind that if the nightly rates for your new booking differ, you may be subject to the additional nightly rate pricing.
